About Us
The Espanola Valley Chamber of Commerce was first organized in 1937 by a group of progressive business owners. The Chamber is a thriving and strong organization, networking to promote our valley. Our Chamber serves as a clearing house for information about local businesses and lifestyle opportunities. Valley residents and visitors alike find the Chamber a great resource.
The Beautiful Espanola Valley lies in the "Heart of Northern New Mexico".
Twenty five (25) miles north of Santa Fe, forty five (45) miles south of Taos
and eighteen (18) miles east of Los Alamos. Our valley is rich in Tri-Culture history. The indigenous people, the Anasazi, built their cliff dwellings in the area nearly 1150 years ago. First European contact was in 1598 with the Spanish expedition led by Don Juan de Onate. Anglo settlers arrived with the railroad in the late 19th century.
